Job Description:
uShip is seeking an energetic, talented, and goal oriented individual who is fluent in German to join our CTS team. This is a contract position located in Amsterdam, Netherlands where our European Headquarters is located. An allotted amount of time of time during the training period will be spent in the U.S. at uShips Global Headquarters in Austin, TX. That being said, flexibility in traveling is required during the training period.
The selected individual will be working directly with the CTS Team and it’s Manager, to enhance all fields of the users involvement with the primary focus being on uShip’s German customers, as well as other international customers. Job Responsibilities:
Projects vary tremendously but possible examples are:
- Working with the CTS team on user communications/support, specifically providing support to all German customers and other international customers
- Working with members on various account issues via email and phone
- Translating documents from English to German
- Assisting the Manager on individual tasks and projects related to online community development
- Organizing and leading the international customer out-reach program
Job Requirements:
- Must have college degree
- Must be fluent in German, written and verbal, and is ideally a native speaker with work experience in Germany
- Must be fluent in English, written and verbal
- Able to work 39 hours per week
- Highly self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
- Eager to work in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment, often with minimal supervision
- Internet savvy and well versed in running or using transaction based internet sites
The Ideal candidate also possesses the following skills:
- Ability to efficiently problem solve customer issues
- Professional communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Working knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus, but not required
- Background in marketing is a plus
