Job Description:
uShip has recently launched a stimulating new partnership and is seeking an energetic individual that’s talented and eager to join the Community, Trust and Safety (CTS) Team. The account and services intern will be part of our in-bound call team. This is a paid internship that will provide you with the opportunity to experience a fast-paced, internet start up atmosphere. Specifically we are looking for individuals who are more than comfortable communicating directly to customers via phone. Hours are very flexible and provide the potential to work part time on certain Saturday’s. If you are a student and are in need of credit or referrals, we can accommodate you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer in-bound calls from customers interested in the uShip service (no cold calling will EVER be required)
- Data-entry
- Assist with members on various account issues via email and phone
- Give feedback on program efficiency
- Gather and document customer feedback and issues
The ideal candidate also possesses the following skills:
- Ability to efficiently trouble shoot and problem solve customer issues with professionalism
- Experience in an office environment where answer calls was a requirement
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Comfortable with online transactions, specifically using internet marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Current college student
- At least 15 hours per week
- Highly self-motivated and organized
- Eager to work in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Extremely detail oriented
