Job Description:
uShip is seeking an energetic and talented individual who is native or fluent in Dutch to join the Community, Trust and Safety (CTS) Team. The position is located at uShips main headquarters in Austin, TX U.S. and is a paid position. Candidates on a student visa must be eligible for CPT authorization, as this is required in order to receive compensation.
This individual will be working with the CTS team directly as well as the Manager and the uShip Global team to improve all areas of the users involvement. Main focus will be on the uShips Dutch customers and will include other international customers as well. Job Responsibilities
Projects vary but possible examples are:
- Working with the CTS team on user communications/support, specifically providing support to all Dutch customers and other international customers
- Working with members on various account issues via email and phone
- Translating documents from English to Dutch
- Assisting the Manager on individual tasks and projects related to the online community development
- Organizing and leading the international customer out-reach program
- Assisting the uShip Global team in any ad-hoc projects
The ideal candidate also possesses the following skills:
- Ability to efficiently problem solve customer issues
- Professional communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Working knowledge of French is a plus, but not required
- Background in marketing a plus
Job Requirements:
- Must have college degree, or is working toward degree
- Must be fluent in Dutch, written and verbal, and ideally a native speaker
- Must be fluent in English
- At least 15 hours per week
- Highly self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
- Eager to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, often with minimal supervision
- Internet savvy and well versed in running or using transaction based internet sites
